About the Asteroid Prospecting Satellite One (APS-1)
Asteroid Mining Corporation Ltd's first mission will be the Asteroid Prospecting Satellite One (APS-1). A large cubesat class satellite with a proprietary payload of instruments designed to analyse the Asteroids and Comets in our Solar System in order to determine which ones may be viable candidates for future Space Resource Operations. Particular focus is on identifying the metallic and water rich asteroids in our Solar System, which offer the greatest economic opportunities for Deep Space commercial development.
